Subscription Updates
At Sway Medical, our mission has always been to provide innovative, reliable, and objective testing solutions that elevate patient and athlete care. Over the past decade, we’ve continuously invested in advancing our technology, expanding our capabilities, and ensuring our platform remains a leader in the industry—all without ever raising prices.
This adjustment reflects the reality of increasing operational costs and the ongoing investments required to maintain and improve the high standards our customers expect. By making this change, we are ensuring that Sway Medical remains at the forefront of innovation while continuing to deliver the accuracy, reliability, and support that our customers depend on.
Here’s a breakdown of the new features and updates introduced over the past several years:
Security Enhancements - Security is always a top priority. We’ve implemented a variety of security updates to safeguard data and ensure compliance with industry standards. These updates include stronger encryption methods, more robust authentication processes, and regular security audits, including SOC II Type 2.
Quality Management - Sway has a robust quality system that meets regulatory standards for MDSAP and ISO13485. Sway undergoes multiple annual audits to maintain certification with our notified body, Intertek. We are the only company in the concussion management space to maintain both MDSAP and ISO13485 certifications.
Clinical Report Download & Share - One of our most requested features, the ability to download and share clinical reports, is now available. This new feature allows customers to easily export and share reports with their team, clients, or other stakeholders, streamlining communication and ensuring that essential data is always accessible.
Unlimited Users - We have removed the cap on the number of users per organization, allowing unlimited users at no additional cost. This feature is crucial for growing organizations and teams that need to collaborate across departments or locations.
New Tests Added - We’ve expanded our survey options to align with recommendations from the CISG Amsterdam Consensus Statement. Survey options now include - Sleep survey, VOMS, PHQ-9 & GAD-7. We have also incorporated testing measures like the mCTSIB with norms to assist clinicians in making more informed decisions.
Updated On-Field Assessments - We’ve made significant improvements to our on-field assessments, ensuring that they are faster, more efficient, and even more reliable in identifying issues in real-time. The on-field assessments now align with the most recent CISG Amsterdam Consensus Statement.
Multilingual Testing Options - We have added Spanish and French allowing for test-takers to choose their preferred language. These two languages are just the beginning, more languages will be added in the coming years!
SSO (Single Sign-On) Capability - For ease of access and to improve security, we’ve integrated Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality, allowing users to log in once and access all integrated systems without remembering multiple passwords.
EMR Integrations - The Sway platform now integrates with several electronic medical records (EMR) systems, enabling seamless sharing of data with healthcare providers and improving the efficiency of clinical workflows. See our Integrations page to learn more.
Event Reporting Feature - We’ve added the ability to report and track injury events within the platform, helping users monitor outcomes and make data-driven decisions more effectively. This feature also allows users to download all events from the year to make reporting easier.
Baseline Streamlining - Recognizing that time is precious we have improved the process of baselining large groups of athletes simultaneously. Improvements include quicker setup and simpler athlete management, the ability to edit tests directly after completion, without having to re-do the full test session, live updates as your athlete or patient progresses through each module, and share code feature via a QR code. All of these improvements were incorporated in response to customer suggestions.
Enterprise-Level Features - For larger organizations, we’ve also added several enterprise-level features to make managing teams and workflows even easier without giving up customization and security. These features include the Create Child Org Tool, along with enhanced Staff and User Management abilities.
