  • Bio: Scott has been a certified athletic trainer for 39 years. He spent the 1st two-thirds of his career practicing clinically in a variety of practice settings with patients from youth to professional and elite levels.  Since leaving clinical athletic training, Scott has worked as an educator and researcher.  His research interests include concussion and their effects upon individuals and clinical prediction rules.  He is the co-Founder of the Delta Concussion Project, a community-based organization of health care clinicians to provide comprehensive education, evaluation, management, and care of concussion for individuals from the Delta region.  Scott is also the co-Chair for the Veterans’ Suicide Prevention Project, an inter professional research group examining the effects of concussion on the mental health and suicide ideation of military veterans.
