In this course you will review evidence to explore strategies for improving concussion recovery in adolescent athletes.
Learning Objectives:
At the concussion of the activity, you will be able to:
- Evaluate and apply the way in which exercise strategies that promote physiologic recovery and reduce symptoms following concussion
- Understand the role of sleep as a modifiable factor in facilitating concussion recovery among adolescents
- Describe the ways in which neuromuscular training techniques may serve to improve long-term physical function and reduce re-injury risk after concussion
