This course integrates the 6th International Consensus on Concussion in Sport (Amsterdam 2022) with current research on industrial concussion management, rehabilitation, and return-to-work strategies. Participants will learn evidence-based approaches for interdisciplinary rehabilitation and workplace accommodations that improve outcomes for industrial athletes.

Learning Objectives

1. Identify common mechanisms and risk factors for concussion in industrial settings and contrast them with sport-related injuries.

2. Apply evidence-based assessment and rehabilitation strategies tailored to industrial athletes, including functional job-specific evaluations.

3. Develop interdisciplinary RTW plans incorporating psychosocial factors and workplace accommodations to optimize recovery and job retention.
