Channeling Your Artistic Athletic Trainer (Encore)

This course will look to change the stigma that surrounds marching arts. We will review the rigorous demands placed on Drum Corps members, requiring a tailored application of sports medicine principles that address their unique needs.

1. Identify what Drum Corps is.
2. Restate how we best implement the traditional concussion protocol to our Drum Corps world.
3. List the challenges we face as non-profit and non-traditional organizations newly exposed to the requirement of having healthcare professionals on their summer season.
